NBA 2K13 PC Differences from Console Versions

While PC users are able to modify the game and enjoy a cheaper price than the console version of the game, it seems like each year there are various features or modes that disappear without prior warning from 2K Sports. Well, those who were able to purchase a disc version of the game (note that digital distribution is delayed two weeks) have found the main differences between the PC and Console versions of the game.

The PC Version of NBA 2K13 is currently missing the following features and modes included in the console versions of the game. Click Read More to see what they are.

Game Modes

MyTEAM
Preorder All Star Weekend (dunk contest, 3pt contest)

Game Features

MyCloset for MyPLAYER
VC Currency System (the game uses the console’s “offline” skill point system for MyCAREER)
Unlockable Blacktop Stars (on consoles they can be purchased with VC; not in PC version)

Online

Playing Against Specific Opponents (including friends)
3-on-3 Blacktop with MyPLAYERs

Graphics

Self-Shadowing on Players
Advanced Stadium Lighting (colored lights in crowd)

We have to make a complain directly to 2k sports!! Pc users are left aside. I dont understand, no console will be as powerfull as a computer!!!

If I would have known this before I bought the game I would have just pirated it.. Makes no sense to support the developers if we're just gonna get shafted anyways..

yeah, its sad and make no sense to cut out pc players..i bought the game every year bud now i´m dissapointed, and its a shame because it is great game bgeside of all that!

I found out after purchasing the game too. I try to support 2K, but paying 50% of the price for 35% of the game is garbage. That is why I'm not gonna buy the game next year.

try downloading the new directx through microsoft. that happened to me and i'm able to play afterwards

there are no shoes in the GEAR AND SHOES menu in manage roster!

What they forgot to mention is that you don't have the options to download new cyberfaces, new courts, and more custom updates. You weight your options. I feel having able to download a cyberface is as important. =)

guess what in 2k14 there will be no more bench to sit.. all the players will have to stand the rest of the game... because 2k sports took it away...
