most of the spects are average... u can play it at min 1.9ghz 1g RAM.... the more pressing matter is the graphics... if they say its the min.. then its the minimum... INTEL GRAPHICS wont play it nicely... ull just get pissd.... most intel graphics are integrated with the motherboard so u wont be able to upgrade it.... laptops/notebooks are great tools but its mobility is its key weakness... u can only upgrade the RAM but impossible to upgrade the graphics/vdo card even if u have a really fast processor....

@john, get a better PSU..something like 750watts... overclock your q6600 to 3.2ghz (very mild) and buy a new gpu.. your video card sux..

@John B, you have no idea comparing console with pc... the gpus in the pcs are a bit powerful these days and no console can beat its graphics if you are using the upper echelon group (gtx 470, gtx 480, hd 5870 and hd 5970)... get a gtx 460 and get rid of that pentium thingie (that's very old school).. research and you'll know that the only reason why games have to be downgraded is that if it will be based on pc specs, your console is gonna choke like a fat guy on peanut butter quicksand...

I ve got the same problem with no sound in 2k11.. i tried to reinstall the game and still no sound. I checked my laptop direct X version
1.Click start
2.Select run
3.Then type dxdiag press enter
you can see all specs of your computer and i seen my direct X installed version is direct X 11 but i tried to download and install dxwebsetup.exe from microsoft download center. and my 2k11 is now working with sounds... hope this will help.

just google it! then download the file and install it. XINPUT1_3.dll is an OS file, if you have just upgraded your OS maybe thats the cause. i also had encountered that scenario when i migratedto windows 7, then i tried playing my nab 2ksports collection it shows that error message. but after downloading the file and installing it i once again ruled the hardcourt!

the missing file XINPUT1_3.dll is an error because you do not have DirectX install - run the lastest version 10 or 11 then you good to go

change your windows 7 basic to windows 7 pro

reinstall your windows

With Intel HD Graphics - And I can run this game perfectly, just tweaked video settings, player models and texture on medium, crowd on low, no reflection and stuff like that, so if ur specs are around or better than mine u should be able to run it well, my lowest fps is 20 which is clearly playable with medium settings. My only problem is i have no sound, and even after installng dx9 and doing diags and seeing i had 10, it still wouln't work, repaired 2k11 n still no sound, im just going to re-install and see what happens. But remember, if ur specs are these or better, u should be good.

Pentium D is faster than a pentium 4... try updating your video card.. that should fix it..

no because it uses DVD..... but you can try making an ISO DVD of your NBA 2K and try using virtualdisk emulators...

hey try to upgrade your video card because usually in laptop the built-in video card is 512mb only that's why your nba is too slow
